ProblemSolver! QUICK-CHUCK TRUCK ADAPTER SET for Wheel Balancers with a 40mm shaft.
The FASTEST and EASIEST way to ACCURATELY MOUNT and BALANCE light and medium truck wheels. Eliminates the use of a cone where the weight and offset of the wheel can cause mounting error. MOUNTING ERROR = BALANCE ERROR! This 3-jaw chuck system accurately CENTERS and CLAMPS wheels in a position "true to the adapter", then the entire assembly accurately mounts on the balancer shaft. Helps eliminate improper balancing and misdiagnoses of tire - wheel runout. Also eliminates the need for a "spacer ring" to compensate for the offset of dual wheeled vehicle wheels.
Includes the CHUCK ADAPTER, STANDARD JAWS, CLAMPING CUP, CUP PROTECTOR RING, and RATCHET KEY. Standard jaws have a clamping range of 3.13" - 7.13".
The optional LARGE JAW SET can clamp up to 9.12"

Quick chuck
Much more accurate and consistent than using cones only probably I've ran into so far is on some wheels that have a wide center my balancer shaft is to short to get the nut on with the quick chuck
