In addition to fair and straight-forward policies regarding Warranty, Returns, and Shipping; we also have made a significant investment of money and resources to ensure SITE SECURITY, PRODUCT AVAILABILITY, and RESPECT OF PRIVACY.
SITE SECURITY: ShopEquipmentParts.com is hosted by one of the largest and most trusted e-commerce platforms in the world, Bigcommerce; and our payment processing, both intigrated and manual, is handled through Paypal. Our entire site uses the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol which is certified by GeoTrust.
AVAILABILITY: We strife to have all the products listed on this site to be readily available and what we mean by readily available is shipped the same or the next business day of your order. In order to do that, we have invested in two of our own dedicated warehouses, thousands of dollars worth of inventory, and strict vendor standards. Our site is specifically designed to only accept online orders for items that meet this availability standard. If an item is a “special order” item that requires more lead time, it is clearly stated in the listing for that item. If for some reason we cannot meet that standard for fast shipping, you will be contacted as soon as possible by phone and/or email to explain the situation and give you the options of waiting for availability, changing or cancelling your order.
RESPECTING YOUR PRIVACY, AND YOUR INFORMATION: Basically, we use your information to fill or order and that’s all. For your convenience, you can create a login account so you can save your information (except your credit card data), save your shopping cart, and refer to past orders. Your information will never be sold to anyone else. We do offer anyone the opportunity to sign up for our Newsletter by email but this is voluntary and you can remove yourself from the list any time.
Our website works with web-browsers that have “cookies” enabled or not; if you have cookies enabled, your browser will save some of the data about your visit to our store, as it does with every website you use.
Our secure online checkout system DOES NOT SAVE YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION and the people that work here CANNOT ACCESS YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION if you checkout online. Credit card information given for phone orders is handled with very strict multi-layered security including restricted physical access, password restrictions, and high level encryption storage. Also, Paypal Invoicing is available for special circumstances where an order must be placed via phone but zero exposure to payment data is required.

OEM PARTS: The term "OEM" is used to identify parts and assemblies that have the same source of manufacturing as the parts originally in the equipment. It DOES NOT mean that there is a legal relationship with the original Equipment Manufacturer, or that Great Lakes Service Equipment LLC is necessarily authorized by the Equipment Manufacturer to distribute parts for their equipment.
